What if they made a ship that could fly and transport the oil. This way instead of having to use the waterways, they could just fly over the mountains. Shipping out from some sort of “airport” instead of a seaport.

They ain’t chucking stones from the shoreline anything in that gulf would still be vulnerable, just slightly more vulnerable if it was in the narrow bit.
